SymArt

SymArt stands for Symmetrical Artwork, a term I use to describe hand-drawn art, using archival quality inks on heavy paper or cardstock, and based on stencils designed in Inkscape or VCarve Pro and cut by the lasers out of extruded plexiglass.

created October 19, 2018 using Uniball and Gelly Roll pens on dark off-white  65 lb cardstock. This is my first design using VCarve Pro instead of Inkscape.

created February 24, 2019 using PIGMA Micron, Uniball and Gelly Roll pens on white 130 lb cardstock. This is my first design using ovals instead of circles, heavier cardstock and free handing outside the stencil.

"Football Rivals"

created April 30, 2019 using PIGMA Micron, Uniball Signo and Gelly Roll pens on white 130 lb cardstock. This is my second design using ovals instead of circles and heavier cardstock.

"Championship Game"

created August 30, 2019 using PIGMA Micron, Uniball Signo and Gelly Roll pens on white 130 lb card stock. This is my third design using ovals instead of circles and heavier card stock. Extensive free-handing outside of stencils, particularly the nets.

"Go for the Gold" 

created on August 30, 2020 with plexiglass stencil cut on August 17, 2020. I used 13 different pens from the Signo, PIGMA and Gelly Roll sets. 130 lb cardstock.
